Whether you're home for the summer, picking up a course for transfer, or just exploring your interests, we make it easy for visiting students to take classes at Atlantic Cape.
You’re a visiting student if you’re currently enrolled at another college or university and want to take a class or two at Atlantic Cape to transfer back to your home school. You can take courses during any semester, including Winter and Summer Semesters.
If you're interested in taking Atlantic Cape classes while enrolled at another institution, you may apply to become a visiting student. If you are not enrolled at another institution and simply want to take Atlantic Cape courses without pursuing a degree, you may apply to Atlantic Cape as a non-degree seeking student.
Applying is free and it’s the first step toward your future. Choose the “Visiting Student Application” when you are in our application portal. You can fill out the application at home, on your phone, or at a kiosk on campus. Just visit atlanticcape.edu/apply to get started.
Under major, choose "undeclared"
We need to make sure your credits will transfer back in to your home college. You can stop by any of the One-Stop Welcome Centers or call us at (609) 343-5000 to discuss your plans.
Now it’s time to build your schedule.
You can register online through your Atlantic Cape Connect portal via the Self Service card or meet with your Specialist in person. We’ll make sure you stay on track with your goals and have a schedule that works for your life.
Want to see the schedule for the upcoming semesters? Visit our Course Catalog & Class Schedules page. NOTE: Atlantic Cape Connect keeps the most up-to-date class schedules.
To reserve your spot in class, you’ll need to make a payment, apply for aid, or set up a payment plan. If you apply for financial aid, payment is not due until your award is processed.
You can take care of it all through Atlantic Cape Connect or at the Bursar’s Office. Check out our Costs and Payments page for more information.
We accept all major cards, E-Check, and cash. Payment plans are available for fall and spring semesters.
