2025-2026 FAFSA Information

Atlantic Cape Community College is now receiving and processing the 2025-2026 FAFSA Applications.  Once your application is in the College system, a message will be sent to your Buccaneer email, and you can view the details in Self Service.

To apply for financial aid, you must complete the FAFSA each academic year. Go to www.studentaid.gov > Apply for Aid > Complete the FAFSA Form to get started. You can complete the FAFSA online and sign it electronically with your FSA ID.

Your FAFSA application is used to apply for the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Work-Study, SEOG, Federal Direct Loans and the NJ State Grants. Additional steps may be required in order to receive the NJ State Grants, which are administered by HESAA. More information about the NJ State Grants are found at hesaa.org

Why Should I Apply for Financial Aid?

All students are encouraged to apply regardless of income level. Need-based aid isn’t the only financial aid available. If your family’s income is too high, you may not qualify for certain aid programs — namely, federal grants. But you still need to fill out your financial aid application, if you want to be considered for other aid. Other aid includes work-study programs and federal student loans.
