
Annual Restaurant Gala
SAVE THE DATE! The 41st Annual Atlantic Cape Community College Restaurant Gala will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 6:00-9:30 p.m. at Harrah's Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City. Now marking its 41st year, the Atlantic Cape Restaurant Gala is regarded as the premier food and beverage fundraising event in the Atlantic City area. This year's theme, Springtime in Paris, will offer an airy and elegant touch to the elaborate soiree. The Restaurant Gala annually attracts 1,000 community and business leaders, government officials, food enthusiasts and friends of the college. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with a lavish cocktail reception featuring hors d’oeuvres prepared by the Academy of Culinary Arts. At 7:00 p.m., patrons will enter the Wildwood Ballroom to sample signature dishes, desserts, and libations from over 50 of the finest establishments in all of South Jersey. A 50/50 raffle drawing, open bar, photo booth, and live entertainment will round out the event festivities.
Join us in celebrating the many accomplishments and generous contributions made by Community Honoree, Travis Lunn, President & COO of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Academy of Culinary Arts Honoree, Chef Demetrios Haronis ’90, Director of Culinary Operations at Tropicana Atlantic City. We're looking forward to honoring Mr. Lunn and Chef Haronis during this year's event.
Since its inception in 1984, the Restaurant Gala has raised over $4 million for scholarships for students attending the Academy of Culinary Arts, a student emergency fund, and Foundation operations. We are grateful for every contribution that helps the ACA provide quality educational and training opportunities and ensures the success our students.
