Atlantic Cape partners with more than 25 four-year colleges and universities to offer transfer and articulation agreements that make it easier for your credits to count toward a bachelor's degree. Many students start at Atlantic Cape to save money, stay close to home, or explore different majors before transferring to complete their degree. These agreements help you stay on track and avoid retaking courses, saving you both time and money.
If your preferred college or university is not listed, you only need to follow their admission/transfer requirements to have your credits & degree evaluated. Typically, any college-level course that is completed with a grade of "C" or better is eligible to transfer. However, it is always the receiving institution's decision if or how to apply those credits to their programs.
Atlantic Cape and Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) renewed its Scholars Program agreement, which establishes a program that enables Atlantic Cape students to complete the upper division courses required for FDU undergraduate degree programs and selected combined bachelor's/master's degree programs upon completion of an associate degree from Atlantic Cape.
The Scholars Program provides the necessary support and administrative services for Atlantic Cape students to transition to bachelor of arts, bachelor of science and combined bachelor's/master's degree programs at FDU. Students admitted to FDU will not be deemed to be students of FDU until their enrollment at the University. Full-time students in the program will be eligible for a transfer award rangin from $2,000-$17,000 upon completion of an associate degree and enrollment in a bachelor's degree or combined degree program.
