The Board of Trustees may grant President Emeritus status to an Atlantic Cape Community College President who is retired from the position of president.
President Emeritus status should be reserved to honor a president who has retired; has provided outstanding and distinguished service at Atlantic Cape Community College and its community.
President Emeritus exemplifies the highest standard of personal and professional integrity, civic responsibility, vision and leadership.
The title of President Emeritus may be awarded posthumously.
